Building an Eco-House can be fun

I have recently designed and project managed the construction of this wooden house in the New Forest, Hampshire.  It was a very interesting experience – once we had got through the hurdles of gaining planning permission and finding the right builder I enjoyed watching the house emerge from the ground and we love the finished building. It is really light and spacious despite being on a tiny plot and the gas bills have so far added up to less than £100 so all that insulation does work!
